THE SLOPES

Now that it's ski and board season let's talk slopes! There are trails for all levels in Breckenridge. The runs on Peak 7, 8, 9 and 10 lead down through forest aisles to the valley. At the lower elevations the slopes are primarily easy to beginner. The higher you go, the more challenging the slopes become. On Peak 8 Summit, the quad chair lift takes skiers to over 12,841 feet (3914 m) where you can ski on steep, treeless slopes back down to the valley. The last meters up to Peak 8 Summit at 13,000 feet (3963 m) must be conquered by foot, taking you to the  highest point  of any US ski resort.

The Parks Freeway

Where the pros go. Freeway Terrain park boasts four massive jumps, plenty of rails and boxes, along with a 22’ super pipe for extra measure. If you’re looking for major air time, big spins, or just want to watch some pros boost out of the pipe, Freeway has you covered.

Park Lane

The local’s park. Park Lane has two triple lines this year and enough rails, boxes, and jibs to keep you lapping all day. Take the 5 Chair to watch the action in the park. With so many lines, why choose just one?

Highway 9

It all starts somewhere and the Highway 9 terrain park on Peak 9 is our entry-level terrain park. With small jumps, rails, and boxes, Highway 9 is the perfect place to work on your spins and slides.

Trygve's

Located on Peak 8, Trygve's is a small park similar to Bonanza. Trygve’s has a combination of moderate jumps and boxes to help you get your foot in the door of terrain parks.

No matter how many times you’ve been here, no trip to Palm Desert is complete without enjoying at least a few of these all-time favorite activities.
